Easy and Inexpensive Fall Centerpiece

So, I’m looking around the interweb and it seems that Fall has arrived, Pumpkin Spice Lattes and all. I’m over here like “it’s 97 degrees out and you can cut the humidity with a knife!” But, while at Target yesterday, I couldn’t help myself and decided to bring a little Fall home. I did it for less than $15, so, I thought I’d share. It is a super simple way to celebrate the change of season (even if we won’t feel cool weather until December!). For all of you southerners in the same boat, turn the air down real low, grab a Pumpkin Spiced anything, and pretend with me for just a moment.

I found the marble and copper candle holders on sale (at Target) for $4 (small) and $5 (large), um, yes please! The sweet little pumpkin was in the dollar spot. Let’s just pause for a moment to appreciate the goodness that is the dollar spot… seriously, so good! I also picked up the copper Threshold candle for $3. I’m not a huge candle person, but it is unscented and works really well with the marble and copper candle holders.

I already had the marble pastry board and round cutting board. And in case you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m obsessed with Hydrangeas and almost always have a vase full somewhere in the house. I love how easily they transition from summer to fall.

The trick to pulling off this little vignette, is to layer and group–shop your house and use what you have! I love the look of the wood on the marble with the marble candle holders and touches of copper. I especially love that the whole look cost me less than $15 and makes me feel like maybe, possibly, it will be Fall is South Carolina soon.

It’s simple, rustic, and it was cheap. Now I can enjoy a little bit of Fall as I walk by my table to head out the door to the beach!
